The Position:
PCNA is seeking an equipment engineer intern to assist in implementing a preventive maintenance system in order to improve equipment performance and manufacturing efficiencies.
The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to develop preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for process equipment across three sites in New Kensington, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
Create & document procedures for all process equipment, ensuring that procedures ensure operator & technician safety at all times.
Develop & implement a system to maintain equipment recordsDefine, write & execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedulesIdentify opportunities for process improvement, particularly machine efficiency and cost reductions, utilizing data-driven methods.
Maintain facility layout drawingsAssist with updating consumable parts inventory recordsParticipate in cross functional targeted improvement projects.Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Knowledge:
Capable of performing process and equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action formulationExcellent communication & organizational skillsDesire to work in a fast-paced environmentProficient with Microsoft Office packageExperience with 2D & 3D drafting softwareAttention to detail, particularly with respect to developing process documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
