- Create & document procedures for all process equipment, ensuring that procedures ensure operator & technician safety at all times.
- Develop & implement a system to maintain equipment records
- Define, write & execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, particularly machine efficiency and cost reductions, utilizing data-driven methods.
- Maintain facility layout drawings
- Assist with updating consumable parts inventory records
- Participate in cross functional targeted improvement projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Capable of performing process and equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action formulation
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package
- Experience with 2D & 3D drafting software
- Attention to detail, particularly with respect to developing process documentation

The Position:
PCNA is seeking an equipment engineer intern to assist in implementing a preventive maintenance system in order to improve equipment performance and manufacturing efficiencies. The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to develop preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for process equipment across three sites in New Kensington, PA.
