    Description
    Our company is growing and we are interested in hiring a Junior Management/Fund Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone energetic, driven, self-starter and proactive. Must have high attention to detail, strong analytical skills and takes responsibility for their work product.

    The Junior accountant will report directly to the Controller and will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-pace team-oriented remote environment.

    Responsibilities and dutiesAssist with management of accounts payable/receivable and maintaining management company books and recordsAnalyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgersAct as a liaison for vendors to reconcile billing discrepanciesAssist with audits and other accounting functionsWork with accounting team on ad hoc requestsQualifications, skills and requirementsBachelors Degree in AccountingCPA is preferred but not required2-4 years of related experienceStrong written and verbal communications skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and OutlookQuickBooks experience is preferred but not requiredAble to multi-task and prioritize work effectivelyAble to work remotely and independentlyLocation in the NY Metro area is required once Covid passes#J-18808-Ljbffr
