    For over 100 years, Carver hydraulic presses have set the standard for laboratories around the world. You'll find the widest array of standard choices for nearly any application. Our standard laboratory presses include two-column and four-column, benchtop and floor standing; manual and automatic presses. Carver, Inc. also has a complete line of laboratory press accessories and a dedicated testing
    laboratory for application testing and development to determine press specifications Wabash MPI/Carver, Inc. uses the latest technology to design and engineer the perfect fit to customer specifications. We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to assist in growing our
    company.

    This position will be responsible for:

    Creating, Implementing, and executing a sales strategy for; Hydrogen Fuel Cell Laminating, Thermoset and Thermoplastic Composite Molding, and other emerging markets.

    A successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Grow new markets to meet company sales and profit objectives
    • Develop a deeper understanding of, and a closer relationship with our customer base
    • Become versed in the complete line of Company products and services to be able to effectively support the entire organization
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing all projects as assigned
    • Interact closely with sales and engineering to have a cohesive team
    • Coordinate with and report to the Sales and Marketing Manager on related sales activities
    • Track and analyze sales trends to identify and act on issues and opportunities
    • Develop specific sales strategies and actions to grow customer base
    • Develop and execute new product line roadmaps and product strategy in new and emerging markets
    • Improve new product line profitability and grow sales
    • Own the applicable product line sales forecasts
    • Identify new product developments and product improvements
    • Track market trends (including market share), technology trends, and competitive issues
    • Analyze customer survey results and implement action plans to improve customer satisfaction
    • Other duties as required

    A qualified candidate will be pro-active, dedicated, and possess these requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in either Business or Engineering is preferred
    • A background in hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing and/or composite molding applications is desired
    • Minimum 3 -5 years of sales experience
    • Proficient with computers and basic business software and CRM software
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
    • Working knowledge of AUTOCAD and Solid Works Software (desired)
    • A wide degree of creativity and individual initiative is expected
    • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Proven project management skills
    • Broad knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery applications
    • Broad knowledge of PLC based control systems (Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi preferred)
    • Experience working with multiple distribution channels and/or representatives
    • Articulate and literate communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Ability to work full-time during standard business hours
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, both nationally and internationally
