We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

Successful candidates will be great at embracing change, and will have a self-starting sense of curiosity in their daily work.

You will frequently team with product management, client success and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional value to Zenoss customers.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Own product features and enhancements from design through delivery
Develop scalable, responsive code to satisfy user stories
Write automated tests using automated testing frameworks
Contributing to existing Go, Java, Javascript and Python codebase
Participate in peer code review
Present solutions at sprint review/demo

Required:
Minimum 10 years of enterprise software development experience
Experience developing object-oriented software in an agile environment
Experience developing software on a cloud platform, such as Google Cloud or AWS
Proficiency in one or more of Go, Java, Python or Javascript
Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or like field

Work Status

is limited to only those legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship.

Preferred:
Proficiency in Linux CLI and shell scripting
Exposure to network protocols, such as TCP/IP and SNMP
Experience Delivering SaaS products in a DevOps-oriented CI/CD environment
Working knowledge of continuous delivery platforms, such as Spinnaker
Experience with systems, network application management software is a plus
