Your responsibilities:

Supporting the Developer Experience team in expanding the Application Operations Platform of the Bundesdruckerei Group
Automating IT processes such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Test Automation, as well as independently performing administrative and configuration tasks
Evaluating new technologies and continuously improving your skills in this area
Developing Managed Services to simplify development and operation processes
Providing technical and technological advice to Product Owners and Software Engineering teams for product and project requirements
Planning and developing Microservice architectures
Documenting work results and systems in ticketing and knowledge platforms

Your profile:

Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable field, or a technical IT education with relevant professional experience in a similar position
Basic understanding of DevOps principles and interest in implementing them in practice
Professional experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications is advantageous
Expertise in working with Docker/Kubernetes; ideally experience with Red Hat Openshift and Istio
Basic knowledge of Java, Microservice architectures, and API design (REST, Messaging)
Ideally experience with Logging (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana) and Monitoring (Prometheus/Alertmanager, Grafana)
Analytical, serviceoriented work style and enjoyment of working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
