    The Territory Sales Manager (Outside Sales) will focus on business development and customer retention within their respective sales categories. This role is designed for an energetic and confident sales professional looking to join a rewarding and entrepreneurial environment. This position will report to the Group President.
    Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProspecting for new business and maximizing growth opportunities.

    Accountable for increasing revenue by selling value added products to enhance our market share, forecast sales trends and sales dollars.

    Manage accounts including understanding margin analysis, competitive market information and quality improvement initiatives.
    Building strong relationships with contacts at all levels across various functions within customer organizations. Maintain and enhance our sles proposition with new and existing customers.
    Build strong relationships with team members across the organization.

    Effectively partner with Inside Sales Representatives to ensure customer needs are met, addressing customer complaints, concerns, and any quality issues.

    Must maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in industry related associations and events.

    All other duties and tasks as assigned.

    Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in related field or relevant experience5 years of outside sales experience in the structural steel industryStrong business acumen with excellent customer service, interpersonal and both oral, and written communication skills; persuasive negotiation skillsAbility to work well and excel within a team or individuallySelf-starter with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships quicklyEffective problem-solving/conflict resolution skills and the ability to maintain confidentialityAbility to read and interpret blueprints preferredBasic understanding of metallurgical terminologyProficient in MS Office Suite, ERP and CRM systemsFrequent travel requiredCandidates must be able to follow all safety policies, procedures, practices, and other related requirementsDiversity & Inclusion StatementUPG Enterprises LLC and its Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
