- Assist in the development and implementation of energy efficiency programs, including but not limited to initiatives related to buildings, appliances, transportation, and industrial processes.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to establish program goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.
- Conduct research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in energy efficiency.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to energy consumption, savings, and program performance.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate program outcomes and progress to management, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Utilize data insights to identify areas for improvement and optimizations within energy efficiency programs.
- Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, including state agencies, utility providers, industry partners, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration, funding, and resource sharing.
- Represent the organization at meeting, conferences, and industry events related to energy efficiency initiatives.
- Develop and implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of energy efficiency programs.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure program compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to program staff, interns, and volunteers involved in energy efficiency initiatives,
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of program team members.
- Directly and indirectly manage program staff.
- Assist Program Managers in hiring and staff training.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, business administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or related field, with a proven track record of project management and program implementation.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision making and program optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and project management software.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency regulations, policies, and standards at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or similar certification is a plus.
