    Description

    Guest Services Representative (FWS/NFWS)

    The purpose of this position is to act as an Ambassador of the university. To provide every guest with a positive first impression of Grand Canyon University Arena by offering superior, individualized service.

    Please Note: Interviews are conducted around university events taking please, we appreciate your patience in the hiring process.

    The primary responsibilities are:

    • Scanning tickets, assist guests with questions and helping them find their seats.
    • To provide accurate event and arena information.
    • To enforce specific rules related to each event.
    • Appropriately handle guest problems.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.
    There is no equipment needed for this position.

    The qualifications for this position are:
    • The ideal candidate will have a positive, friendly and outgoing personality.
    • Must be punctual and customer service oriented.
    • Responsible, trustworthy, approachable, dependable and assertive.
    • Must have a service-oriented mindset and capable of making every guest feel valued.
    Experience/Education:
    Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
    • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
    • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
    • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
    You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.

    Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
