    **Description**

    Star Tribune has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Media Buyer The primary responsibility of the Senior Digital Media Buyer is to set up digital media campaigns for owned and operated, and Advantage digital campaigns. A successful digital media campaign will achieve or exceed delivery and performance based on KPIs outlined by clients and communicated to the buyer.

    **Responsibilities**

    Oversee the development and implementation of digital media campaigns across various buying platforms

    Monitor digital media campaigns within multiple DSPs daily

    Optimize toward established KPIs during the life of a campaign

    Pull data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and recommendations to take to strategists and digital leads

    Lead interdepartmental trainings and oversee the onboarding of new hires

    Maintain relationships with current vendors and research new product offerings

    Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests as assigned

    Research and stay abreast of current industry best practices and trends, develop and maintain digital best practices, and promote digital optimization techniques

    **Requirements**

    Bachelors degree in related field and/or certification; or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience

    Three years of working experience utilizing Real-Time Bidding technologies (DSPs, Ad Exchanges, SSPs)

    Proven track record of successfully managing complex client campaigns and relationships against performance metrics

    Ad trafficking experience utilizing platforms such as Facebook, GDN, etc.

    Experience with Google Ad Manager or other ad serving technology

    DoubleClick Campaign Manager/DoubleClick Bid Manager and Google Analytics certifications are preferred but not required

    Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the industry, development processes and business priorities

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
