    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of residential and commercial landscaping, along with a proven track record of selling projects ranging from $250k to $600k in value. As a key member of our sales team, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Identify and prospect new residential and commercial clients through various channels, including networking events, referrals, and industry partnerships.

    2. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' landscaping needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their vision and budget.

    3. Collaborate with our design and construction teams to create comprehensive proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities and differentiate us from competitors.

    4. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting their expectations and timelines.

    5. Maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and track sales activity using our CRM software, Buildertrend.

    6. Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.

    7. Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

    8. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and expand our network within the residential landscaping community.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Business Administration, Marketing, Horticulture, or related field.

    2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential landscape design, construction, or maintenance, with a focus on sales and business development.

    3. Proven track record of successfully closing high-value projects within the $250k to $600k range.

    4. Strong understanding of landscaping principles, horticulture practices, and outdoor design trends.

    5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions to diverse audiences.

    6. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding sales targets.

    7. Self-motivated and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    8. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
