    Summary



    This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO. As an Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), you will be

    • Evaluating new application software technologies for evolving, important missions.
    • Analyzing and refining unique or experimental software requirements.
    • Writing and maintaining program documentation.


    Duties


    As an Information Technology Specialist (APPSW), you will:

    • Provide leadership and expert advice in determining and designing complex, customized applications, in analyzing and refining systems requirements, and in testing and troubleshooting applications/enhancements that are in development.
    • Assure new software and systems quality and functionality throughout agency operations.
    • Execute test cycles according to test plans and test procedure specifications using test automation software, tools, and utilities; and

      Monitoring the test cycle for correctness and completeness.
