    About the Job

    Touchstone Accessories is looking to hire an extremely motivated and driven Sample Coordinator with proactive communication and strong multi-tasking skills. This role requires a blend of organizational prowess, attention to detail, and a keen understanding of fashion jewelry and accessories to contribute to the success of the buying/sales team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a clean client-ready organized showroom with collections arranged by relevant season and keep showroom merchandised and related supplies stocked
    • Manage sample shipments to major retail accounts including sample tracking, return requests, and sample return check-ins. Keep an organized file with list of samples currently out with clients
    • Track new samples through multiple rounds of development and notify account managers of all incoming samples
    • Recard new samples, assign style codes, upload information on sample tracker file, and take professional images to be uploaded to company library
    • Work closely with the sales team preparing product presentations for client meetings and Market weeks
    • Collaborate with the buying team in analyzing current fashion trends
    • Create PowerPoint Presentations of emerging trends
    • Provide assistance to the buying team as needed

    Requirements:

    · Previous experience in a relevant merchandising or fashion-related role (2+ years preferred)

    · Understanding of fashion trends, brands, and the overall dynamics of the fashion industry

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional email etiquette is required

    · Strong organizational abilities to be able to merchandise jewelry and accessories product

    · Efficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

    · Ability to excel in high-pressure and fast-paced situations and adapt to changes in business priorities

    · Proactive attitude in anticipating challenges and proposing solutions

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential for this role (Adobe Photoshop a plus)

    · In-office role in Hollywood – must be located in LA county

    Hourly Salary Range: $21-$25: Offer placement within this range is based on a variety of factors including prior relevant experience, qualifications, and skill set.
