We offer
The BMD Manufacturing Territory Manager is responsible for calling on retailers, architects, and builders within an assigned territory to facilitate the sale of Manufacturing products to new and established accounts in order to meet or exceed sales and gross margin targets for the Company, the territory, and the accounts.
In addition, this position is responsible for providing specialized knowledge and support to the Company's channel partners, assisting with project management and pre and post-sales service, and building customer loyalty in order to grow business in support of the Company's overall budget, strategies, and goals.
This includes representing and promoting BMD Millwork products and the Company and its services and products, obtaining orders and closing sales, increasing customer satisfaction, responding to customer needs, and growing market share.
The BMD Manufacturing Territory Manager works closely with Inside Sales, Marketing, other divisions and departments, and suppliers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Work Experience:
Five years of experience using consultative selling techniques in an outside sales position generating pull-through sales in windows or doors, building materials, construction products or a related industry; experienced selling to retailers and getting products specified by architects and builders; project management experience helpful
Responsibilities:
Meet established sales and gross margin goals while ensuring customer satisfaction
Travel to accounts to make regular sales calls to develop relationships and influence the actions of others.
Present and sell products and marketing programs, represent the Company with integrity and professionalism, and provide service to customers.
Educate and communicate the Company's value proposition to targeted customers in order to drive loyalty, satisfaction, sales and service
Develop and maintain regular communications in a cooperative and professional manner with customers and all levels of staff
Determine market strategies and goals for each account and prospect for new accounts in the territory as needed to ensure comprehensive market coverage for all product brands, in all market segments; including new construction, remodel, and installed sales
Train channel partners in Marvin and Integrity products, software programs, quoting, basic sales skills, blueprint take-offs and identifying post-sales service issues
Gain eligible dealer commitments to dealer programs, secure dealer participation in program requisites, and assist in planning and implementing related activities
Consistently call on and develop a consultative relationship with key builders and specifying architects, educating them all products and services, and developing project sales opportunities.
Maintain a record of activities in customer relationship management software (CRM); fulfill all program requirements including 12/12 and other promotional programs.
Conduct sales presentations and product knowledge meetingsProcess potential leads, work in conjunction with key dealers to assess and follow up on potential sales opportunities.
Communicate territory activity, architect, and trade contacts, program updates, project opportunities, project status, competitive activity and other pertinent market and field information through CRM
Sell under established Company guidelines including; BMD Manufacturing programs, margin, suppliers, and other criteria.
Maintain an active role in all phases of project management as necessary to ensure successful project execution, including take-offs, product selection, project specification, proposal preparation, lead time and delivery management, exceptions, and bid inclusions
Act as a liaison between the Company and the customer to resolve program, product, warranty, and other issues
Work cooperatively with co-workers and other departments, sharing information, managing expectations, and ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures
Represent the Company in customer promotional and product events, industry events, and trade and home shows
Participate in sales planning, budgeting and forecasting
Maintain a current and expert level of knowledge of products, including technical information, specifications, and installation practices and techniques
Attend and participate in sales and training meetings
Provide assistance with customer account receivable issues when requested
