    Description
    Security Software Engineer
    • Undergraduate Intern at Intel in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description Come intern with one of the largest engineering companies in the world.
    This position will be part of Software and Advanced Technology (SAT) Security Software (SW) organization.

    This group is responsible for developing scalable security software products that creates value and simplifies integration of Intel Architecture (IA) security technologies in the cloud as this is where security platform features are manifested.

    This specific position will be to design, develop and test additional feature sets for the SW product to secure key cloud infrastructure data.

    These features will be made ready for full regression testing, meeting security development life cycle requirements. The candidate will work closely with architecture and engineering teams from different sites to complete the assignment.

    During the approximate 3 month assignment, the candidate will develop knowledge of cloud computing solutions, securing and protecting cloud platform and data using IA technologies/solutions, secure development life cycle, and working with global teams.

    Qualifications You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.


    Minimum Requirements:
    This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers.

    These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years related job experience.

    This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a nonSTEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and a minimum of 3+ months experience in: + Computer architecture, Compute programming, data structure and/or algorithms.

    + Linux OS + Programming languages (example Golang, C/C++ and/or bash)

    Preferred Qualifications:
