- Previous agency experience would help someone transition more quickly into the agency but is not required for this role
- Experience supporting media pitch development and for outreach in B2B/B2C, local, regional and national markets to gain media coverage
- Superior organization skills to effectively manage media lists
- Experience in press release development showcasing exceptional writing skills and knowledge of AP Style is preferred
- Ability to draft press releases with informed, cohesive writing skills with no grammatical errors
- Ability to think outside of the box when brainstorming concepts, proactive pitch angles, assisting in creative byline development, drafting blogs, and other editorial opportunities
