- Prepare and draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate forms
- Conduct legal research on various trust and estate matters and provide summaries to attorneys
- Assist with estate planning and administration, including asset valuation and distribution
- Prepare and file probate documents and court pleadings
- Coordinate and manage client meetings, appointments, and deadlines
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress
- Assist in the preparation of estate tax returns and other related filings
- Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals, such as accountants and financial advisors, to ensure comprehensive client service
- Stay up-to-date with changes in trust and estate laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Trust & Estate Paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of trust and estate laws, probate procedures, and estate planning techniques
- Proficient in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
