    Product Training Specialist

    Houston, TX/ Full-time

    Your responsibilities

    The National Product Training Specialist is primarily responsible for delivery, integration and implementation of training course curriculums. This role will also assist the Training Manager in managing the instructional content design and development of educational solutions for regional and national training events. Develop an annual education plan for their respective regions as well as participate and execute trainings at all BSH facilities. Maintain records of all trainings, participants and their relative progress. Monitor training programs to evaluate effectiveness and recommend modifications as necessary. Maintain a working knowledge of market trends and competitive product information.

    ·Direct delivery and execution of all product training curriculums regionally as well as nationally

    ·Respond with flexibility and urgency to shifting priorities

    ·Support regional, customer service, marketing and sales education initiatives

    ·Help to ensure that training systems and procedures support concept needs and reflect best practices of BSH and the appliance industry

    ·Assist with launches of all BSH products and programs

    ·Build and maintain relationships with peers and other corporate departments related to content development and implementation

    ·Access available supplemental training skills offered by BSH to enhance job performance

    ·Maintain proper attire for the position at all times

    ·Evaluate and recommend new instructional methods for all educational processes

    ·Maintain availability and supply of all necessary training materials and supplies

    ·Other duties as assigned.

    Your profile

    ·Associate degree (Business, Education) – Required

    ·Bachelor's degree (Business, Education) – Preferred

    ·3-5 Years of Experience (Sales or Training in similar industry) – Required

    ·Knowledge of principals and methods of adult education and presentation techniques

    ·Possess excellent presentation skills

    ·Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

    ·Direct working knowledge of the high end household appliance industry

    ·Able to assist in design and development strategies supporting hard copy and web based materials including documentation, presentation, procedures, reference materials, activities, courses, workshops and assessments

    ·Domestic Travel by car, airplane, boat, etc. - can include overnight and weekends

    ·Must be able to drive to visit assigned accounts daily in territory

    ·Must have an active driver's license in good standing with the DMV

    ·Travel Percentage – up to 30%

    Your Pay & Benefits

    The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

  • 2 weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.

  • The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line)
  • 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line)
  • 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day)

  • BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
