    Senior Analyst, Strategy, Finance & Analytics

    SummaryThe Business Financial Analyst is a senior analyst position on the E15 analytics team within Levy.

    As a Business Financial Analyst, you would become E15's primary point of contact with Levy's operators and clients at Javits's Convention Center and helping support Levy's larger Convention Center sector.

    You would help the on-site controller with various financial tasks and conduct several data-driven projects, including performance reporting and economic valuations, and serve as project manager for others, including the creation and strategic deployment of E15's proprietary analytics products.

    Detailed ResponsibilitiesActs as a liaison with the team, including partner's operational team, Levy team and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational performanceWorks with Levy team members and user community to assess and analyze business functions and processes to gain a deep understanding to define and articulate the business requirements and needsIdentifies goals, develops best practices for data collection, and analyzes current processes to determine what can be improved to achieve desired outcomeAnalyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departmentsProvides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project and event costs, trends, and forecasts of remaining expensesConducts market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or business modelsPrepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costsIdentifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations to increase efficiencyCommunicates key insights and findings to operation teamProvides recommendations that can help improve decision-making processes internally or at customer levels.

    Performs quality assurance and business risk evaluationsProduces high quality, meaningful, and precise presentations and complex reportsCreates and maintain various tracking documentsMaintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and dataProvides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requestedEnsures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closingPerforms other duties, as assigned Skills and Experience2+ years of professional experience in a finance, accounting, or computer programmer analyst roleOperational experience in food and beverage is preferredBusiness Degree and/or CPA certification is preferredHigh level of computer literacyPassion for hospitality, food, and retailAbility to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a tight deadline driven environment and the ability to adjust to changing prioritiesAbility to work independently and possess strong problem-solving skillsDetail oriented and highly organized with excellent analytical and communication skills Proven business analytical capabilities to solve complex business issuesAbility to document, prepare, and deliver effective presentations to a wide-range audienceAbility to develop strong working relationships with peers and other departmental team membersExcellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work non-standard hours as dictated by event scheduleApply to E15 todayE15 is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
