    Description

    Job Summary:


    This role will ensure complex revenue and other transactions are recorded, documented, reviewed, and supported promptly and by the applicable accounting guidance and company policies.

    Additionally, all SEC public company controls must be adhered to and this role will assist in developing working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management within the company.


    Essential Functions:

    • Obtains information from internal and external sources to record accounting transactions in the general ledger, including but not limited to, complex revenue recognition transactions.
    • Mentors and guides junior accounting staff, and assists with complex accounting issues and professional development.
    • Prepares and reviews balance sheet reconciliations every month.
    • Assists in the analysis of the company's allowance for accounts receivable and prepares the related journal entries and reconciliations.
    • Prepares all audit work papers and assists the auditors as needed.
    • Assists with the development and implementation of internal controls, policies and procedures and ensures compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
    • Provides variance analysis and other month-end financial information to various departments and presents to upper-level management.
    • Recognizes and initiates process improvements.
    • Other Duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience

    Years of Experience: 3-5 Years

    Years of Management:
    No Experience Needed

    Preferred Licensing, Certifications and Skills:

    • Preferred CPA, and/or Public Accounting experience
