-  Assisted Executive Director with Center operations from August 2001 to July 2002; ran day-to-operations of Center from June 2000 to August 2001 (until hiring of Exec. Director Suisheng Zhao); organized conferences and discussions on China and Sino-US relations; managed visiting scholars and graduate students from China; managed the Center’s annual budget of (then) $75,000; did publicity for the Center and editing work on Center publications; created and managed the Center’s website; developed new Center initiatives and projects; organized regular Center delegations to China and Chinese delegations to the Center/US.
