The pedagogy I teach seeks to involve students in the application of knowledge. Providing students the opportunity to connect knowledge to the world while developing a purpose and relevance to skills learned in my classroom. It is the application of the learned skill that provides the proof to continuously develop as a learner. Showing a correlation of subject matter to industry further stimulates the students’ desire to acquire more knowledge. While developing skills, students learn to analyze, evaluate, and create which benefits them in every class. As a teacher, I want to spark the development of learning, passion, reason, desire, and the experience of why learning is such a great thing.
