- Company Party Planner: Plan and coordinate company parties, sales meetings, strategic planning retreats, and other events. You'll be the go-to person for creating memorable and engaging experiences
- Visitor Engagement: Welcome and assist visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression of Ascentec Engineering.
- Employee Recognition Program Management: Oversee the inventory and distribution of employee recognition program items, maintaining accurate logs and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Office Maestro: Manage incoming calls and mail with efficiency and courtesy. Keep our office supplies stocked and organized.
- Travel Coordinator: Arrange travel for management, supervisors, employees, and job applicants, including scheduling international travel and obtaining travel visas when necessary.
- Special Projects Guru: Tackle short-term projects, run unplanned errands, and support the executive team and HR department with various tasks.
- New Hire Support: Prepare training materials and orientation packets, ensuring new employees have a smooth onboarding experience.
- Communications Coordinator: Send out company mailings, including Christmas cards, thank you notes, and anniversary recognitions, spreading cheer and appreciation.
- Interview and Meeting Scheduler: Coordinate and schedule interviews and meetings, ensuring all logistics are in place for smooth operations.
- Education: High School Diploma preferred.
- Experience: At least three years in a business/general office environment with a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
- Skills: Exceptional customer service, strong written and oral communication, and excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must.
- Attributes: Highly self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
- Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- General Office Tasks: Frequent sitting, handling, grasping, and reaching. Occasional walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Mobility: Ability to navigate stairs and move throughout office areas.
- Office Environment: Work primarily in an office setting with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. This position requires signing a Non-Compete Agreement and an ITAR Compliance document.
