    Job Summary

    : The Enterprise Planning and Performance Senior Manager at Mattress Firm plays a key role in leading and executing Program, Project, and Change Management to drive standardization and discipline across the organization. This Houston-based position involves spearheading cross-functional initiatives to deliver on the company's strategic plan.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration for achieving business outcomes.
    • Manage corporate calendar, executive sessions, and business cadence to drive effective communications and minimize conflicts.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Take charge of cross-functional programs and projects, managing scope, coordination, risks, and issue resolution.
    • Implement processes to enhance program and project management efficiency.
    • Analyze program and project metrics to drive continuous improvement and better decision-making.
    • Act as a liaison between executive leadership and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.
    • Provide coaching on program and project management best practices for professional development.
    • Ensure adherence to safety policies for a secure work environment.
    • Maintain professionalism in internal and external communications.
    • Uphold company standards on appearance, functionality, and brand representation.
    • Report any concerns to leadership for operational efficiency.
    • Perform employee performance evaluations and necessary disciplinary actions following company policy.

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field required.
    • Master's Degree preferred.

    Professional Experience

    • 5+ Years management consulting, strategic planning, and/or portfolio management roles.
    • 10+ Years Program Management.
    • 10+ Years Change Management.
    • 3+ Years Continuous Improvement.
