- Understand client needs and security posture to recommend suitable solutions.
- Effectively convey complex security topics to both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to design security solutions for potential customers.
- Create and present technical proposals, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Supervise CCTV, Access Control, Mass Emergency Notification, and Visitor Management systems across multiple sites.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance of critical security systems.
- Work with Security and Technology Departments to define system requirements and select optimal products.
- Research, evaluate, and procure security hardware and software, ensuring operational fit.
- Effectively communicate design concepts, recommendations, and project details to stakeholders.
- Manage vendors and contractors, ensuring high-quality service alignment with security needs.
- Conduct routine testing and performance reviews to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for system issue resolution, minimizing operational disruptions.
- Maintain system reliability through a comprehensive maintenance program for optimal uptime.
- Document system configurations, processes, and maintenance activities clearly.
- Provide hands-on expertise in areas like CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, and security center integration.
- Knowledge of OSHA general safety standards, and proper care of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Flexible to work beyond standard hours, based on customer commitments.
- Stay current with industry trends through educational opportunities, professional materials, and networking.
- Contribute insights and information for budgeting activities as needed.
- Capability to design, build, and maintain security systems.
- Proactively identify and resolve system configuration issues.
- Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience managing complex security programs.
- Knowledge of security system architectures, certifications, detection, high availability concepts, and integration coding.
- Proficiency in Office Productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
- Ability to work remotely and travel nationwide for projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital.

JOB OVERVIEW
Howard Technology Solutions seeks a highly qualified Physical Security Pre Sales Engineer to offer pre-sales assistance.
