    **Description**

    **JP Mascaro & Sons** is a locally owned and operated private family owned company who has been experiencing record growth and success. In 1964, it started with one truck. We have grown into one of the largest most successful fully integrated solid waste companies serving the mid-Atlantic area.

    **J.P. Mascaro & Sons Dunmore Division** is looking for an experienced, self motivated Operations/Safety Manager to join our team

    **Responsibilities:**

    Coordinate and manage our divisions daily schedule

    Supervise all of our division drivers

    Oversee operations at both of our New Jersey transfer stations

    Monitor and ensure divisions adherence to all safety policies and procedures as well as DOT and OSHA compliance

    **Qualifications:**

    Thorough knowledge of DOT, DEP and OSHA procedures and regulations

    Class A CDL

    Strong leadership qualities

    Must have experience in the trucking industry. Prior management experience in the solid waste industry a plus.

    **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

    Responsible for the training of all drivers in the policies, procedures and safety goals of the company.

    Responsible for ensuring proper recognition and/or disciplinary action, when warranted, is issued in a timely manner in accordance with the companys policies and procedures, and for ensuring positive morale.

    Responsible for complying with DEP, OSHA and DOT rules and regulations.

    Responsible for holding monthly safety meetings

    Responsible for scheduling and dispatching all drivers, monitoring daily tonnage and making changes throughout the day as necessary
