    Description

    Summary

    These positions are located in Partnerships and Civic Engagement, in the State and Local Assistance Programs Division. The purpose of this position is to perform cradle-to-grave administration including pre-award, award, post-award, and close-out functions in support of various financial assistance programs.

    Open to the first 100 applicants or until 03/29/2024 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.

    Duties

    The major duties of the Grant Management Specialist position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Interpret and apply legal authorities, regulations, policy, and other program requirements and ensure that grants are compliant with Federal laws and regulations.
  • Monitors compliance with annual financial reviews and audits, such as those required by A-123
  • Monitors the apportionment, obligation, grant and special reapportionment balances
  • Analyses progrm policy and operational procedures and monitors their implementation.
    • Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
