    Description
    LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client in Northridge.

    As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and adhering to company policies and procedures.



    Responsibilities:
    Process a high volume of vendor invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently.

    Verify invoice accuracy, including matching invoices with purchase orders and receipts.

    Obtain proper approvals for invoices and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

    Prepare and process electronic payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.

    Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

    Correspond with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues professionally and promptly.

    Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts payable balances.

    Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files and documentation.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the accounts payable function.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

    2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role.

    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of accounts payable processes and controls.


    Pay Details:
    $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
