    Job Overview:
    We are partnering with a prominent food and hospitality company to enhance their finance team.

    We are currently in search of a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts payable processes.

    This position is vital in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations, tailored to the unique dynamics of the food and hospitality industry.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and authorization.
    Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
    Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
    Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
    Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve any payment inquiries.
    Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files and documentation.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.
    Assist with other accounting tasks and special projects as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the restaurant industry.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Great Plains Software.
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
    Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
