    The salary range for this position is $115,692 - $151,471.We are looking for a Sr. Materials Planner. As a Sr.

    Materials Planner, youll be part of a cross-functional team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the worlds best quantum computers to solve the worlds most complex problems.

    As a Sr. Materials Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibility will be to manage production plans, monitor inventory levels, and materials to meet production requirements.

    In addition, youll be obtaining and negotiating vendor quotes, generating purchase requisitions, working with vendors and internal suppliers to confirm expected delivery dates of open orders, generating/releasing/managing open production work orders, and reporting material readiness posture.

    Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze forecasts, and maintain production schedules.

    Responsibilities:
    Perform system-level planning in a manufacturing environment driven to a Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) scheduleAchieve 95% or greater on time delivery to MRP at a top-level assembly levelGenerate and maintain daily/weekly build schedules and communicate cross functionallyReport status of material shortages, material availability, and build progress cross-functionally, expediting external and internal supply when appropriateTroubleshoot material issues impacting the build scheduleProactively identify material constraints, identify solutions and lead cross-functional efforts to resolutionPartner with vendors to confirm expected deliveries and expedite material when appropriateYoud be a good fit with:Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other related field5+ years of experience of materials planning in a manufacturing environment with multi-level Bills of Material (BOMs)

    Strong understanding of MRP in a manufacturing environment (i.e., planning, purchasing, inventory management and manufacturing operations)Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systemAbility to lead cross-functional efforts and collaborate with other teams to achieve resultsMindset of continuous improvement, strong drive for results, sense of urgency, and a strong bias for actionStrong analytical and data management skills (strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel)Ability to thrive in a dynamic and highly ambiguous environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externallyYoud be a great fit with:

    This position is a full-time, on-site role, based out of IonQs newest facility in Bothell, WA.Our HQ is located in College Park, Maryland and we are a 15 minute metro ride from Washington DC.

    We are actively building out our recently opened manufacturing and production facility in the Seattle, Washington area.

    Depending on the position, you may be required to be located in Washington DC, Seattle, Washington or the Toronto, Canada area.

    However, IonQ will be expanding into additional geographies both domestically and internationally so dont let this stop you from applying.
