    Simpay is seeking an Accountant who is analytical and enjoys working with financial data in a fast-paced environment. This role supports the Finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and resolving any bookkeeping discrepancies.

    The successful candidate for this role will have experience working in an organization with multiple entities, locations and remote staff members.

    Responsibilities

    Assist with sales and use tax compliance process, including data preparation, by filing accurate and timely returns in multiple jurisdictions

    Accounts Payable & purchasing – prepare weekly reports and process payments promptly

    Accounts Receivable - review balances, skip pay

    Collections - manage internal and external clients and lien processing

    Banks and account reconciliations for multiple companies and accounts

    Financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, monthly journal entries, adjustments and amortizations

    Inventory control – review, reconcile, adjust and maintain reporting

    Assist in preparing budget forecasts

    Audit financial transactions and documents

    QuickBooks management

    Financial statement preparation

    Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience

    Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP)

    Advanced Microsoft Word & Excel Proficiency

    NetSuite experience

    Experience with online banking at the corporate level

    Sales tax filing experience

    Excellent written and oral communication

    Preferred

    Experience in Merchant Services, Payroll or POS industries

    Work Environment


    Our office is located at 1210 Northbrook Drive, Suite 475, Feasterville-Trevose, PA This job operates in a professional office environment*.

    This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position may have opportunities for remote or a hybrid work schedule.
