    Job Description

    OLIN Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Planning seeks a Staff Account to work within our Accounting Department. Under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for timely and accurate accounting and daily reporting as directed.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Provide day-to-day reporting and accounting support as directed

    • General Ledger tasks; Bank Reconciliations, Account Analysis, and Account Reconciliations
    (quarterly/annually)

    • Quarterly/Annual Journal entries

    • Consultant and Vendor invoices accounts payable entry

    • Credit Card/expense coding for input into accounts payable

    • Expense report review and entry

    • Vendor setup in Accounting System

    • Annual Preparation of 1099's

    • Performs other related duties as assigned

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint preferred

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications

    • Attention to detail, and critical with regard to accuracy

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong planning and organization skills

    • Ability to work independently and as a team player

    • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment

    • Ability to engage with all levels of staff from Entry Level to Partner

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's of Science in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline

    • 3+ years of accounting/finance

    • Knowledge and Experience working in A/E/C industry required

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
