    Job Description

    At Simpay, our mission is to simplify the lives of business owners by offering efficient solutions that help them save time and money. We are looking to add a new member to our team who is passionate about numbers and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

    We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Finance department. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining financial records, solving bookkeeping issues, and be comfortable working in a setting with multiple entities and remote staff.

    This position is based in our office in Feasterville-Trevose, PA.


    Responsibilities

    • Assist with sales and use tax compliance process, including data preparation and filing accurate returns in various jurisdictions
    • Accounts Payable & purchasing - prepare reports and process payments
    • Accounts Receivable - review balances and manage collections
    • Banks and account reconciliations for multiple entities
    • Financial reporting and general ledger maintenance
    • Inventory control and budget forecasting
    • Audit financial transactions and documents
    • QuickBooks management and financial statement preparation
    • Other duties as needed

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years of accounting experience
    • Knowledge of accounting regulations and GAAP
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, QuickBooks, and online banking
    • Experience with sales tax filing
    • Excellent communication skills

    Preferred

    • Experience in Merchant Services, Payroll, or POS industries

    Work Environment

    Located at 1210 Northbrook Drive, Suite 475, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053, our office provides a professional environment where you will use standard office equipment. This role involves mostly desk work with occasional filing tasks. Remote or hybrid work options may be available.
