    One Park Financial (OPF) is a fast-growing FinTech(Financial Technology) company headquartered in Coconut Grove, Florida. OPF connects small businesses with a wide variety of flexible financing and funding options to help entrepreneurs acquire the working capital they NEED to take their business to the next level.

    About this role

    The Director of Business Development will play a pivotal role in client acquisition growth and market expansion through the acquisition and management of strategic partnerships and business opportunities. This role will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with potential partners, negotiating partnership agreements, and executing initiatives to drive mutual value and success.

    Requirements

    Main Responsibilities

    • Identify and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that align with One Park Financial's business objectives and growth strategies.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to acquire and onboard new partners, driving funding growth and market expansion.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at potential partner organizations, including financial institutions, fintech companies, associations, and other relevant entities.
    • Build and maintain a network One Park's referral program as a subchannel within Biz Dev.
    • Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring alignment of objectives, terms, and expectations for both parties.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and tech, to ensure successful implementation and integration of partnership initiatives.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner relationships, managing ongoing communication, performance tracking, and issue resolution to drive mutual success.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of emerging trends in the small business financing space.
    • Track and measure the effectiveness of partnership initiatives, providing regular reporting and insights to stakeholders to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
    • Represent One Park Financial at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and foster new partnerships.

    Requirements

    • Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish).
    • Position entails on-site presence at our Coconut Grove office from Monday to Friday.
    • Proven track record in biz dev, partnership management, or related roles, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and executing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
    • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to assess market opportunities, analyze financial data, and develop compelling business cases for partnership initiatives.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth through strategic partnerships and alliances.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments and functions.
    • Knowledge of the small business financing industry, including alternative lending products and services, is a plus.
