Chelsie Ferguson

All my life, I have been drawn toward helping people in need. 

Leading into adulthood, my natural inclination to explore has led me to travel throughout 10 different countries, developing a passion for culture, health, language, and people. I love to observe and immerse myself in new environments and analyze how I can make a difference in the community that I am in. This culmination of science, health and society has brought me to International Public Health Law. It seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and understand the tools it would take to accomplish my vision for a better world.

Still in the process of finishing my MPH-JD degree, I aim to make the necessary connections to jumpstart my career in International Public Health. With years of management, academics and leadership experience under my belt and new skills in Public Health research, my work will center around advocacy and creating systematic change in our global health system. I plan to dedicate my career to improving access to health and health outcomes, particularly for minority populations and those facing social disparities
