    Description

    Duties * As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, you will perform duties to include but not limited to the following: * Apply comprehensive expert functional knowledge of military personnel programs to all levels of management officials with the IMCOM Directorate and Garrisons.

    * Oversee the management, execution and implementation of an effective military HR program. * Develop guidance and standards for new and/or changing program areas. * Develop recommendations and solutions to military HR management issues and problems. * Present reports and briefings on military HR program status and/or recommend actions to appropriate individuals. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. * One year supervisory probationary period may be required. * Temporary duty travel (20% or less) away from the normal duty station may be required.

    Specialized experience required:
    :

    At least one FULL year of specialized experience at or equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.

    Specialized experience is defined as experience providing comprehensive advice and guidance on military HR management regulations/ policies; providing technical training to support military HR personnel actions and systems; and, analyzing military HR program information to identify necessary corrective actions.

    You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

    • Organizational Performance Analysis
    • Technical Competence
    • Written Communication Time in

    Grade Requirement:

    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).

    Current employees applying under VEOA are subject to time-in-grade restrictions like any other GS employee. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.

    For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -no substitution of education for experience is permitted.


    FOREIGN EDUCATION:

    If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S.
