Schedule range:
38-50 hours (with 1.5 pay for OT)_

As a
Recovery Specialist, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by providing and promoting an environment of long-term recovery.

You will partner with the Clinical Director and Program Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Responsibilities:_

• Provide peer support to individuals with mental health challenges
• Administer medication (medication administration training can be provided)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assist individuals in navigating the mental health system and accessing appropriate resources and services
• Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with mental health challenges
• Facilitate support groups and educational workshops
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Peer Specialist (CPRS/RPRS) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
• Lived experience with substance abuse challenges and demonstrated ability to effectively manage personal recovery
• Knowledge of mental health systems, resources, and community supports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with individuals receiving services
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

From $17.50 per hour
