    Role Summary:


    The Providence office is one of several Offices located across the continental United States, (in addition to our Boca Raton, Florida location and the NYC Global Headquarters).

    You'll report to the Regional Office Head and join a dedicated team of professionals who are all full of energy and enthusiasm and are highly driven to succeed.


    Responsibilities:
    The Retirement Plan Consultant will represent Mutual of America in a sales and marketing capacity conducting group and individual meetings on-site at a Regional Office's group client
    Assist in the rollout and enrollment of participants in newly established 401k and 403b plans through group and individual meetings
    Enhance the company's relationship with the participants, while cross selling individual products during on-site group and individual employee meetings
    Actively network and prospect new participants to add to Mutual of America's product suite
    Increase enrollment, contributions and obtaining transfers from current group plan participants
    The PAR will be responsible for following up on direct mail, advertising and website leads forwarded to the Regional office
    Acts as a financial liaison with participants on all matters concerning individual products, including investment alternatives offered under the contract
    Collaborate and present with other colleagues to show and prove our service model to prospects who are on the verge of buying our group products
    Coordination of client service matters with local Regional Office service staff and any appropriate home office departments

    Required Qualifications:
    At least two years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience
    Experience in presenting in a group setting to a variety of size groups
    Individual sales experience and being comfortable with cold calling
    General business acumen with strong motivation and communication skills
    Active FINRA SIE, Series 6 and 63 must be obtained within the first 180 days of employment
    Active State Life and Health Insurance License (in all states covered) required or obtained within 180 days of employment
    Valid driver's license required

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree preferred
    CRPS designation preferred after 5 years in sales related position
    Knowledge of products underwritten by the company (401k and 403b retirement plans)

    Match:

    You will be eligible to receive up to 9% of your pay (salary and incentive compensation) in company contributions.

    A non-elective employer contribution of 3%, plus a 100% employer match on employee contributions of up to 6% of pay.

    Parental Leave: 8 weeks fully paid
    Paid time off: 20 days plus two floating personal holidays
