Responsibilities and duties for SMHFC Residential Clinician:
- The Residential Clinician provide individual therapy at least weekly to each child or as needed.
- Facilitate therapy groups and community meetings as assigned.
- Acts as a contact person for school system.
- Provide other therapies as indicated in child's treatment plan (i.e. dyad, family).
- Attend and record treatment plan meetings, intake, DCYF case plan/Administrative Review Unit, IEP, discharge and other team meetings.
- Participates in treatment plan meetings with the PRTF team.
- Initiates client referral to psychiatric, psychological and other mental health consultants as needed.
Qualifications for Residential Clinicians:
Master of Social Work Degree or equivalent; prior clinical experience with children, preferably in a residential setting.
