Residential Clinician

  • Annual Salary$52,000$57,000

Responsibilities and duties for SMHFC Residential Clinician:

  • The Residential Clinician provide individual therapy at least weekly to each child or as needed.
  • Facilitate therapy groups and community meetings as assigned.
  • Acts as a contact person for school system.
  • Provide other therapies as indicated in child's treatment plan (i.e. dyad, family).
  • Attend and record treatment plan meetings, intake, DCYF case plan/Administrative Review Unit, IEP, discharge and other team meetings.
  • Participates in treatment plan meetings with the PRTF team.
- a) Document and measure the child's progress in the program and evaluate the program service delivery.

  • Initiates client referral to psychiatric, psychological and other mental health consultants as needed.

Qualifications for Residential Clinicians:
Master of Social Work Degree or equivalent; prior clinical experience with children, preferably in a residential setting.
