    WAREHOUSE MANAGER | Ogden, UT

    Company Overview:

    Join our dynamic team at Supply Options, a leading distributor of architectural metal cladding (ACM) and Sheetmetal products. We specialize in providing high-quality building materials tour valued clients. As we continue to expand our operations and grow our customer base, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient and effective handling of our inventory.

    Position Overview:

    As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, optimizing warehouse processes and workflows, and ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of ACM and sheet metal products.
    • Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational goals.
    • Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
    • Coordinate with sales and purchasing teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turnover, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall warehouse performance.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in warehouse management software and systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a warehouse environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding customer expectations.
