The firm is privately held, very well capitalized, vertically integrated class A investor, owner and operator with over $2B AUM and growing.
This company has a national platform, is entrepreneurially driven and known for their incredible culture (top list for "best culture" and "best companies to work for"), respected leadership, high quality and long-term approach.
The firm is kicking off a major corporate initiative to build a long-term sustainable development platform.As such, we are searching for the leader (number 1 hire) to head up and drive this initiative at the highest level.
The Candidate/Role :
This development executive business unit leader is located at the corporate HQ and will work hand in hand with senior most corporate leadership, cross functional business leaders, internal and external stakeholders in managing the strategy, direction and operation of the development business.
This being all within a very well-capitalized, well established, very well respected and growing company.This individual will lead all aspects of development across the entire real estate life cycle from overall business plan & strategy to sourcing, executing and stabilization.
The right candidate will be an accomplished multifamily/mixed use development leader that has experience managing a high performing development business unit/pipeline/region, enjoys being "hand on", loves all aspects of real estate development and growing a business to scale.
In a collaborative, well planned environment having ample support, this individual will be responsible for the overall growth, direction and performance of the development business.
We are looking for someone who has a solid business leadership acumen, is entrepreneurial, operates with a high level of sophistication and has a forward thinking approach, is pro-active & driven.
This is a long-term, upside incentive driven opportunity and is a key member of the executive leadership team that will have a direct impact on the success of the greater business.
