OUR MISSION

Elevate Collegiate Charter School will equip all Prek-5th grade students with the academic knowledge and character development necessary to set forth confidently on the path towards college and a life filled with opportunity.

THE POSITION
We are looking for TX Certified Lead Teachers. Founding teachers will act as Elevates most critical lever in ensuring student achievement and forging a successful academic program.


THE RESPONSIBILITIES

To students:

• Teach your heart out, everyday
• Plan, implement, and execute engaging and rigorous daily standards‐based lessons to ensure that all students master the required content
• Communicate regularly and proactively with students and families
• Identify students who are academically at risk and initiate effective intervention strategies
• Provide supervision before school, during student lunch, and after school as assigned in order to maintain student safety

To staff:

• Complete other tasks as directed by the Head of School as hired
• Report to and be evaluated by the Head of School

To standards:

• Assess students frequently through formal and informal measures
• Reinforce schoolwide rules and expectations

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Required:_
• Strong commitment to Elevates mission and vision
• Bachelor's Degree
• Openness to feedback and desire to continue development as professional
• Willingness to take responsibility for scholar outcomes and achievement
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Preferred:_
• Minimum of one year working in urban education with a history of significant gains in scholar performance and/or growth
• EC3 or EC6 Certified in the State of Texas or willing to seek certification

$55, $70,000.00 per year
