- Degree/ Diploma in General Nursing
- Post graduate certificate/ diploma in speciality area (Critical Care Nursing Science)
- 3 years post qualification experience

- Relevant nursing legislation
- Infection prevention and control
- Scientific nursing principles and process
- Audit patient records
