Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and supervision to support elderly with dementia. In a residential care setting. Your role will involve management and training caregivers monitoring resident conditions, corresponding with doctors, families, hospice and homehealthcare services.


Duties:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
• Monitor resident medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor resident vital signs
• Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans
• Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and selfcare techniques
• Ensure compliance with all Ttile 22 regulations and protocols

Skills:

• Proficient in medical records management and documentation
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and reimbursement processes
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
• Experience in home care, acute care, nursing administration systems, assisted living, or hospice care is preferred
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations with composure
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate administration of medications and treatments
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Posses and RCFE Admin Certification or willing to pursue one within the first year of employment.

$ $31.96 per hour
