- Tracking inventory levels, managing purchasing documentation, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the maintenance department.
- Ensuring the inventory levels are maintained accurately within the system and verified physically. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance parts inventory, including stock levels, usage, and reorder points.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or insufficient inventory.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to review and validate purchase requisitions, specifications, and pricing before issuing purchase orders.
- Making sure parts are kept organized and accessible and location data is stored in the system for all team members to access when needed.
- Making a list of the parts that need to be purchased.
- Supervising the shipment issues of the parts ordered. Coordinating with vendors on delays or damaged shipments to make sure project or repair schedules are not impacted.
- Overseeing the replacements procedures. Assist in managing and organizing maintenance manuals, technical documents, and part specifications for easy access and reference.
- Looking out for new suppliers offering better quality products or better service.
- Providing training sessions for the new team members.
- Resolving any inconsistencies for all the purchase orders.
- Maintaining a strong relationship with the vendors and suppliers.
- Preparing monthly and annual consumption part reports per machine. Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, purchase order status, and spending trends to support informed decision-making and optimization of procurement processes.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, trends, and areas for process improvement.
- Performance other duties as assigned by management.
- Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the company
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and basic accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Detail- oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and numerical skills.
- Bilingual Communications (preferred).
- Teamwork, productivity, and objectives oriented.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).

Role Overview:
Our maintenance department is looking for an experienced candidate to join us as a Spare Parts Procurement, and Inventory Manager. You will be responsible for making sure the parts inventory stocks are well maintained physically and within our ERP system. You should also be responsible for overseeing the shipment and replacement procedures in a timely manner. You should also be able to work with the production and maintenance department to ensure all parts needed for any project, repair, or for spare inventory are procured in a timely manner. As a Part Manager, you should have good negotiation skills and the ability to take timely decisions. You should also possess excellent customer service skills and outstanding leadership abilities.
