    This is a permanent direct hire role. This position is remote with hybrid schedule per quarter.

    Salary is DOE

    Position Overview: Senior Staff Accountant will assist with all aspects of the financial accounting process including general ledger, insurance accounting, fixed assets, financial reporting and various business lifecycle in operations. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in general ledger accounting, proficiency in Netsuite platform, and advanced skills in MS Excel.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger accounting functions
    • Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
    • Compile information for internal accounting, AP, AR and cash dashboards, cash accounting and reconciliations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support annual audits, financial reporting and analysis
    • Assist in the implementation and optimization of Netsuite platform for accounting processes
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in general ledger accounting
    • Minimum of 3 years advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros)
    • Minimum of 2 years sales and use tax reporting

    • Payroll, cessions and retro reporting for insurance or service contracts
