Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Department: Human Resources

About the Role:

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our employees and driving the success of our HR initiatives. We are seeking a professional and experienced HRBP with a strong background in coaching, talent management, employee relations, and demonstrated experience working with health care operational teams.

What You'll Do:

Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to department heads and managers, providing guidance on people-related strategy and execution around talent management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement performance review processes (e.g., 9-box, development plans, annual reviews, etc.) that align with organizational goals and foster employee growth and development.
Conduct regular performance review meetings with managers and employees, providing constructive feedback and facilitating discussions on performance improvement and goal setting.
Proactively address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
Partner with assigned departments to understand their unique HR needs and challenges, and develop tailored solutions to support their teams effectively.
Educate, coach, and partner with managers on talent management and employee development goals.
Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to performance management, employee relations, and other HR functions.
Act as a mediator and advocate for employees, providing support and guidance on workplace issues and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Collaborate with the HR team on various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, talent development, and succession planning.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the HR function, and implement solutions to enhance overall effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on performance management and employee relations.
Experience working with health services departments or within the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to apply them in a practical, solutions-oriented manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing HR challenges.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1668 S Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801
The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $80,000 - $100,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
