JOB SUMMARY:
The
Ormco HR Business Partner will pro-actively pick up on the needs of managers, implement key HR processes, and come with solutions to challenges in the business.
In addition, the HR Business Partner may take a leading role in responsibilities including but not limited to employee relations, on-boarding and exit processes, training and development, compensation and benefits administration including leave of absences, HR department general and financial functions, and talent acquisition.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The HR Business Partner will lead and optimize relationships of associates, managers and the leadership team.
- The HR Business Partner will implement and support talent strategies and programs for his/her respective area with significant complexity, to enhance the effectiveness of managers and the effective acquisition, performance management, development and movement of talent.
- The HR Business Partner collaborates with leaders to optimize business success through HR initiatives, such as the annual Engagement cycle.
- Investigates, mediates, and resolves employee and labor relations issues. Manages employee complaints and ensures accurate and timely documentation of concerns or issues.
- In partnership with corporate Talent Acquisition, leads external and internal recruiting for a variety of role types.
- Administers employee changes (i.e., promotions, transfers, salary increases, terminations). Conducts new hire orientation as well as the exit process. Ensures efficiency and accuracy of HR processes and transactions.
- Drives talent development efforts for targeted employee populations. Leads and facilitates interactive sessions for employees of the organization on a variety of topics from policies and programs, to leadership development initiatives.
- Supports with the administration of benefits and HR legal functions including open enrollment, leave of absences management, ADA interactive process, and the immigration process.
- Administers HR departmental general and financial processes including budgets, vendor management, and accounts payable.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Partners on global HR and corporate Headquarter initiatives as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in HR, Business Management, or related fields.
- 5 years' experience working in Human Resources field.
- 2 years' experience partnering with operations (logistics and manufacturing) teams specifically.
- Approximately 10% or more travel within North America.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven, strong employee collaboration and partnership experience required.
- Strong effective communication skills oral/written.
- Fluent in English (oral/written).
- Strong employment law knowledge.
- Analytical skills using Excel.
- Prior working experience in healthcare/device or manufacturing/distribution industry.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish.

$84,800 - $95,500
