Our Client, a Vertically Integrated Cannabis company is looking for a new Accounting Manager to support the growing business needs in Northern California.

This is a newly created position that will report directly to the Corporate Controller. The candidate will focus on accounting and reporting matters of the Parent-Co and will be involved in all aspects of corporate accounting and reporting. We are looking for an experienced professional that thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, brings leadership, and is also not afraid to roll-up the sleeves.

Job Responsibilities:

Corporate/Parent-co financial statements
Monthly close process
Review of monthly reconciliations
Inter-co reconciliations
Assistance with the year-end external audits and interim reviews
Review of subsidiary-level financial statements
Create and document accounting and financial reporting processes
Ad-hoc projects
Complex accounting and transaction review

Required Skills and Education:

Bachelor's degree
Bright, quick learner, self-motivated
6-8 years public and private experience
Leadership experience
CPA a plus
An understanding of financial reporting systems, procedures, and controls
Advanced Excel skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilities
Knowledge of IFRS

Compensation:$120,000 plus benefits
