- Prospecting and researching ideas for potential donors
- Managing and updating the donor database
- Assisting in preparing materials for donor meetings and events, including writing briefings and background memos
- Tracking follow-up and meeting notes in the donor database
- Providing administrative support for donor events, including tracking attendees and RSVPs
- Other duties as assigned
- Student interested in nonprofit work preferred
- Knowledge of NGP database is a plus, but not required
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Ability to complete tasks and communicate clearly while working in a hybrid environment

Everytown for Gun Safety is seeking an intern to join the Development Team. The Development Team leads Everytown's major donor fundraising program. The intern position will provide support to the Development Team by conducting prospect research and updating the database. They will also help prepare materials for fundraising meetings and events and track notes about donor interactions. The Development Team Intern position will report to the Development Associate and work closely with other members of the Development Team and the Office of the President. This
position is based at Everytown's New York office.
